Brookline, Massachusetts Town Map Art

$55.00

Did you know that Brookline, MA, which is surrounded on most sides by the City of Boston, is actually a completely separate town? That flat edge, lower left, is the border with Newton, MA — every other edge of Brookline is a border with Boston. Weird, huh? My favorite Brookline fact, though, is that when it was first settled by Europeans in 1638, they called it Muddy River. Someone brought in a PR team for that renaming project!

A map of Brookline, MA is cut from a piece of heavy white card stock paper with the word “Brookline” below. Choose your own background color to coordinate with your decor or to evoke memories of your time in Brookline!

The black frame is 8.75″ (about 22cm) square, and 1.125″ (about 3cm) deep.
