One of the best antidotes I've found to normal life is finding a place where you have permission to make a mess and not stress so much about the outcomes. My favorite part of teaching creative workshops is the way I get to offer a bit of structure, but generally encourage people to let loose and get messy. I've been trying really hard to make space for that in my own work, too, and so when @arlingtoncommunityed reached out about teaching a workshop this spring, I decided it was time to get back out there and share some of what I've been making and learning with my community.
