Located just 10 miles from the Massachusetts border, and only a river’s width from New Hampshire, Brattleboro is a small but well-connected town in southern Vermont. The Connecticut River runs the length of the eastern edge of town, while the West River cuts across the northeast corner of town. Brattleboro is a bit of a performing arts nexus in Vermont, home to the New England Center for Circus Arts  as well as the Vermont Jazz College, and multiple annual music and film festivals.
